I am the President of the Del Val United Football Club! I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself to those who may not know me. I am a resident of Alexandria Twp, where I have lived for the past 14 years with my wife, Alison. We have two boys, Mason and Zac, who participate in youth sports in our community. My concern, however, isn’t about just my kids when it comes to youth sports, it's about ALL the kids in the community.

Many of you know me because I have coached your kids in football, basketball, tee-ball, or baseball, over the past 6 years, however, football is my passion. I started playing youth football in Flemington, in the early 80s, before continuing my athletic career at North Hunterdon High School. I achieved the privilege of being a High School Football All-American playing Defensive Line.

My playing career continued into college at Syracuse University. I was part of three Big-East Football Championships and Team Captain while sharing the field with All-Pro, Donovan McNabb, and Hall of Famer, Marvin Harrison, and many others who played in the NFL. I understand football and the skills it takes to build a successful team.

It is with this knowledge and background that I was part of a group of talented and dedicated local coaches that decided to break away and start a new, and exciting, football program in our Community. The DVUFC is a program that can UNITE everyone, and allow every child the opportunity to play.

This program will be about playing football, but sports are about so much more. Our staff will teach Character, Teamwork, Work Ethic, and handling Adversity, among many other life skills.

Del Val United Football Club will be organized, transparent, and open to any ideas. I have a unique perspective because I was a coach at both the Rams and Jr Terriers. I will also open a welcoming hand to anyone who was part of those organizations. The potential to have a great program exists but that potential has existed for years and was wasted due to adult in-action. Since DVUFC announced our arrival a month ago, there has suddenly been a flurry of activity in the youth football community that unfortunately, may cause a distraction from our goal of putting our children first.

If anyone has questions, comments, or concerns, let's communicate to find the best solution. Send me a DM thru the page and I will discuss any part of the DVUFC. Whether it's through a phone call, an email, or a socially-distant cup of coffee, I want you to understand the truth and the positive passion that the Moms and Dads, Coaches, and Board of the DVUFC bring to this new organization.
